Not Sure What’s Suddenly Happening to Your Body?  What Menopause, and Perimenopause is? How do you even know if you're in it?

Updated: 2 days ago

It can be hard to know where to turn. Maybe you haven’t heard much about perimenopause or menopause—or maybe what you’ve heard hasn’t made much sense. That’s why I created The Hormone Harmony Network. This is a space designed for women like you—whether you're just starting to learn about perimenopause, feeling overwhelmed by menopause, or simply looking for a safe, supportive space to share your experiences.

Menopause isn’t an ending; it’s a natural, powerful evolution.

Most of us were never taught what menopause actually is—let alone how to recognise perimenopause when it starts.

Why is my body changing? Is it stress, ageing, or something else? What symptoms should I even be looking for?

Get clear answers. No fear, no shame. Menopause isn’t a weakness. Just real facts, all in one place.

Maybe you’ve noticed subtle changes—trouble sleeping, unexpected anxiety, heavier or irregular periods, skin reacting differently, a sense that something just feels off. Maybe you’ve brushed it off as stress, aging, or just life being hectic. Maybe no one ever told you that menopause doesn’t just “happen” one day, but starts with years of gradual shifts known as perimenopause.

If that’s you, you’re not alone. So many of us go through this not even realizing what’s happening because no one prepared us for it. But the sooner you understand what’s going on in your body, the sooner you can make choices that support you—not just to "manage" it, but to move through it with confidence.

Instead of approaching it with fear or frustration, what if you stepped into it with curiosity and intention? What if you saw this as your opportunity to release what no longer serves you, to rewrite the rules, and to step fully into the next version of yourself—stronger, wiser, freer? Knowledge will be your Super Power. The more you understand your body, the more you can work with it instead of fighting against it. This isn’t about "fixing" anything, you're not broken. It’s about embracing who you’re becoming and making choices that honor you.

So let’s shift the narrative. Let’s move from dread to empowerment. From confusion to clarity. To letting go of things that no longer serve us and  stepping into a life that truly does. Those questions that you have that no one seems to answer?  It’s frustrating, and overwhelming—but you’re not alone.

At The Hormone Harmony Network, we don’t just talk about menopause as something to endure—we see it as a powerful, transformative phase of your life that deserves real attention, understanding, and support. It’s your time to reclaim your energy, your health, and your joy.

The sleepless, nights, the hot flashes, the uncontrollable rage, the unexpected tears, and the questions that no one seems to answer. I see you juggling careers, family, and your well-being while trying to make sense of changes that feel anything but fair. For too long, menopause has been misunderstood—dismissed, even. For years, we’ve been told to "just get through it" or "deal with it." But here’s the truth: you don’t have to go through this transition alone or in the dark. You don’t have to endure it with confusion, frustration, or shame.

I’m here to help you understand what’s happening in your body and provide you with the tools to navigate this journey with clarity, confidence, and support. Whether you're just starting to notice signs in the early stages of the Perimenopause Phase or you’re furhter along and struggling to keep on top of everything -  this space is for you.

Menopause Is Personal, Powerful, and Full of Possibility

The journey will not be the same for everyone. It’s layered, complex, and uniquely shaped by our identities, cultures, medical history, access to healthcare, and even our support systems. For some, it’s barely a blip. For others, it’s life-altering. Yet too often, our experiences are overlooked, misunderstood, or dismissed—leaving many of us navigating this transition without the guidance or support we deserve. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here. At THHN, you’ll find a community that respects the richness and diversity of your experience, offering real information, practical tools, and support that reflects where you are right now.

Race & Ethnicity: Studies show that menopause can start earlier, last longer, or come with more intense symptoms depending on your background but most research ignores this.

Disabilities & Chronic Illness: If you’re managing a disability or a long-term condition, menopause can add another layer, one that most doctors don’t talk about or understand how to manage.

Trans & Non-Binary Experiences: If you’re a transgender man or non-binary person who still has ovaries, menopause can look different—especially if you’re on hormone therapy. But clear, affirming support? It’s often missing.

So much of what we’ve been told is based on a narrow, one-size-fits-all narrative.

Your experience is real. Your symptoms are valid.

It’s Time to Let Go

Menopause is not something to fear or hide from—it’s a time to shed old patterns, embrace new possibilities, and step fully into who you are meant to be.
